"RealiTV"Who do you know better - your favorite character on television, or your next door neighbor? For many Americans, it is the characters on TV that win that vote. We spend hours a day watching TV, and then more hours talking about what we have seen with our co-workers and friends, even strangers in the grocery store line! "RealiTV" is a completely painted super-large-screen TV showing the American flag.
The twist? Each stripe of the flag has tiny painted images showcasing a different type of television show, including reality tv shows, game shows, soap operas, kids tv shows, comedy, drama, science fiction, news, sports, and more! A trip down memory lane! There are over 1,000 images depicted, each one hand painted. The union (the blue part of the flag) showcases the trophies given out to our "stars" for outstanding talents, and the stars themselves are taken from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. |
