Other Mediums

When I have an idea for a piece I see the completed piece in my head, already created in the medium I should use. Sometimes, when I meet people, I think, "This person should be done in charcoal," or "He is definitely a pen & ink!"

Different mediums speak to us in different ways, and add to the final feel of the piece. Shown are works created in watercolor, dry pastel, clayboard, and oil pastel. I hope you find that the final feel of the piece was enhanced due to the medium that was used.

NOTE: The black and white cat shown to the left was created on a black clayboard, which was scraped and rubbed off to create the cat image.
