"Love" "Honor" and "Cherish"

Painted to show societal struggles that 2020 amplified.​ "Love" shows a battered woman, "Honor" shows an elderly person with a birthday cake reading a card from her family who are unable or unwilling to visit for the celebration, and "Cherish" shows a precious child brushing their teeth amidst pills, drugs and alcohol scattered across the bathroom vanity. Light colors were chosen, so that at first glance these are happy, cheerful scenes and its not until you look closer that you see the darkness. ​
