Cereal Mascot windows

"Kaleidoscope Garden"

Painting started with the application of primer by 25 area high schoolers during the 2017 Youth Day of Caring at the beginning of May. Kimber then spent some time painting on the outlines of flowers that are native to Michigan, creating an "adult coloring book" look to the fence.

When you stand in front of this piece, I hope you hear music! This artwork shows 30 musicians who were either born or raised in Michigan. All are shown in concert, Kimber wanted viewers to hear music while viewing the piece.

The Kingman Museum does an annual exhibit called "Great Minds" and they wanted a mural to go along with their artifacts. 
This mural depicts Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, and Madame Curie, along with some of their more famous quotes (all hand painted, no vinyl letters here!).

"Downtown Life" Greenstreet Arts murals

Council Public Art Program, Marshall Rotary Foundation (fiduciary)
Location: 115 W. Green Street, Marshall, MI until at least 2017

The five reproduction murals depicting "Downtown Life" include cropped sections of Renoir's "The Boulevards", Van Gogh's "Café Terrace at Night", Monet's "Boulevard des Capuchines", Caillebotte's "Street in Paris in the Rain" and Munch's "Four Girls on a Bridge". The impressionistic use of color changed the way art was created and viewed from their time until today, and beyond.
