With her artwork, Kimber wishes to portray images, emotions, or messages that cannot be captured in photographs.
Most of her work involves research. The education of herself and others is one of the things that make her work unique, fun, and memorable. She is inspired to participate in projects that include community
involvement - Kimber believes seeing a person come alive while viewing or creating artwork is priceless.
Kimber creates everything from murals to miniatures, realistic to abstract - whatever is urging itself to be created at the time. She also works in many different mediums - when a project comes to mind it tells her which medium should be used to create it. She works in acrylics (using glaze layers), charcoal, pen & ink, watercolor, dry pastel, exterior latex house paint, and more.
